South Korea’s three major mobile carriers—SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus—have officially launched the Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses, bringing Meta’s popular smart eyewear to the Korean market.
Developed through a partnership between Meta and EssilorLuxottica, the glasses now support Korean-language voice commands.
Users can activate the built-in Meta AI by saying “Hey Meta” to ask questions, take photos and videos, control media playback, send messages, and receive recommendations.
The glasses feature a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera capable of capturing high-resolution photos and 3K Ultra HD video from a first-person perspective.
They also include five microphones and open-ear speakers, allowing users to make calls, listen to music, and interact with AI while remaining aware of their surroundings.
Weighing around 50 grams, the glasses are IPX4 water-resistant and offer up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge, or up to 48 hours when used with the charging case.
Prices start at 690,000 won, depending on the model.
All three carriers are offering installment plans and promotional discounts through their online stores and select retail locations.
