Spent a deeply inspiring day on the field in Timișoara with our teams across neurology, oncology, and ophthalmology. A special thank you to Kope Cristian Alin for the truly valuable Business Perspectives program. The strategic connections and insights gained throughout the day were invaluable! It was also fantastic to connect with my colleagues in the region Dana Ciarnau, Flaviu MARINCĀU, Bogdan Olaru, our discussions were incredibly fruitful!
Reconnecting with healthcare professionals on the front lines is always a powerful reminder: while innovative medicine is vital, true healing happens when science meets empathy, human connection, and genuine heart.
Coming across this small library in a hospital corridor, tagged with the gentle reminder ‘Lectura vindecă’ (Reading heals), perfectly captured that spirit. It’s a quiet testament to the fact that care is deeply holistic, it requires nurturing the mind and spirit just as much as treating the body.
Ending the day in Piața Libertății, listening to a gentleman playing the piano while people paused simply to nourish their souls, felt like the perfect conclusion to this visit. Timișoara reminded me today that whether through a book, a melody, or a compassionate gesture, healing always speaks to the heart.
