    Silas McArthur Spain, infant son of Corey and Jessi (Johnston) Spain, entered the arms of Jesus July 27, 2026. He was born July 8, 2026 in Fayetteville.
    Though his time on earth was brief, Silas was deeply loved and brought immeasurable joy to his family. His life continues to point us to the hope we have in Christ.
    He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Sander and Shepard Spain; paternal grandparents, Scott and Christy Spain; maternal grandmother, Brooke Lindsey (John David); maternal grandfather, Monte Johnston; paternal uncle, Blake Spain and wife Madyson; and their children, Grayson and Sutton; paternal aunt, Shelby Fletcher and husband Riley, and their daughter, Scottie; maternal aunts, Jorja Brinker and husband Derek, and their children, Bowie and Beverly; Jinjer Bargsley and husband Brannon, and their son, Banks, Joslin Johnston, and Loren Lindsey; and maternal uncle, Drake Lindsey; paternal great grandparents, Norman Spain and Jim Goodknight (Susie); and maternal great grandparents, Phil and Judy Phillips, Gerald McArthur and Charlotte Johnston, and Nita Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Anne Sanders Phillips Charleton; and paternal great-grandmothers, Judy Spain and Barbara Goodknight.
    A private family service was held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either of the below organizations.
