Atmospherica Aviation (AAN, Prague Václav Havel) has placed an order with Embraer Executive Jets for a Praetor 600E. The move aligns with plans to grow the company’s Praetor fleet, as outlined by accountable manager Alice Horváth-Muška in a ch-aviation exclusive interview earlier in 2026.
In a statement, Atmospherica Aviation said the new aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2029, will expand longer-range mission capabilities. The company currently operates two legacy Praetor 600s under the AOC of Atmospherica Jets, secured in early 2026. The new aircraft will accommodate up to nine passengers, matching the configuration of the two existing Praetor 600s.
The Praetor 600E, an upgraded version of the Praetor 600, was unveiled in early 2026 and received EASA certification in April.
Beyond the super midsize fleet operated under Atmospherica Jets’ AOC, Atmospherica Aviation’s AOC comprises a Phenom 300 and five Phenom 300Es, with a sixth unit on order to replace the standard Phenom 300, currently used as a spare during AOG situations.
In June, the company announced a deal with Embraer for two Phenom 300Es, scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2028 and intended to replace older Phenom 300Es. A month later, the same order was upgraded to two Phenom 300EVs, Embraer’s latest evolution of the Phenom 300E, launched in July.
During an interview at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, Horváth-Muška said the company planned to maintain a total of six light jet Phenom 300s, while growth was expected in the super midsize Praetor fleet. Atmospherica Aviation aims to maintain an average fleet age of less than approximately two and a half years.
