POLAND – A stretch of Route 224 in Poland that was closed this morning due to a downed power line has since reopened.
Police say the downed line shut down traffic on Route 224 between Struthers Road and Clingan Road at around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The road reopened just before 2 p.m., with traffic currently being controlled by flaggers. Drivers are asked to use caution while driving through the area.
According to the FirstEnergy website, there were more than 300 outages in Poland Township and Village as a result.
The utility had the power back on after 9 a.m.
