The Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijan have established peace on the basis of the 1991 Almaty Declaration, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a conversation with journalists.
He noted that the demarcation in the Kirants section was carried out using the maps based on that declaration. “On those maps, Artsvashen is the territory of Armenia, while Karki is not.”
Pashinyan noted that the issue of the enclaves must be resolved.
According to him, the issues cannot be resolved militarily. “That is a closed page. It must be resolved in a way that is convenient for the citizens of both countries.”
