The government has extended Eva Hagwall’s appointment as Deputy Director-General at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). Hagwall has held the position since October 2020.
The decision was made on 3 September, according to a press release from the government. No information on the duration of the extended appointment is given in the press release.
In a comment from FMV, Hagwall highlights, among other things, the agency’s materiel deliveries to the Swedish Armed Forces, support for Ukraine and FMV’s development as a defence industry authority.
“I am pleased to have received the government’s continued confidence. I look forward to continuing to be part of FMV’s important work of delivering materiel and services to the Swedish Armed Forces, to contributing to the support for Ukraine, and to being part of the development of FMV as a defence industry authority,” says Eva Hagwall.
