Tomahawk Metals announced that detailed desk-based research, including the compilation of all available historic data and the creation of 3-D geological models, has been completed for its Slovakian portfolio. The three main licences—Poproč, Lom, and Strieborná—have been officially transferred to Tomahawk Metals Slovakia, a special purpose vehicle fully owned by the company. Two additional licences, Zalomy and Zlata Bana, remain in the application stage. These Slovakian assets are described as offering district-scale potential for antimony, gold, and polymetallic mineralisation, anchored by historically productive high-grade vein systems that remain open at depth and along strike.
Poproč Licence: Confirmation of High-Grade Antimony and Gold in Agneška-Ferdinand Vein System
Desk research at Poproč identified several key exploration targets within the Agneška-Ferdinand vein corridor. The Agneška vein extends over 2,000 metres in shallow exploration pits and outcrops, with surface samples returning up to 9 g/t Au and 0.65% Sb. Historic production at Poproč is recorded at 251 kt grading 4.12% Sb and 80 kg Au, with head grades reaching 10–15% Sb and gold grades of 10–14 g/t. Residual resource blocks include the Ferdinand area with 4,900 t grading 7.5% Sb and 5.99 g/t Au. Additionally, approximately 95 kt of dumps and 52 kt of tailings are noted as having processing potential.
Lom and Strieborná Licences Exhibit Ultra-High-Grade Shoots and Polymetallic Prospects
At Lom, the best adit channel samples returned grades of 2.75 m at 30.98% Sb and 3.0 m at 18.46% Sb. The 1988 historical resource is estimated at 530 kt grading 0.98% Sb and 1.5 g/t Au. Shoots have been traced 500–600 metres along strike and 270 metres deep, remaining open below the Spodná adit, which is targeted for a planned 525-metre drilling programme. For the earlier-stage Strieborná licence, 2023 trenching yielded up to 0.50% Sb and 1.29 g/t Au, while recent underground sampling from a medieval adit returned up to 2.86% Sb, 455 g/t Ag, and 4.44% Cu, according to ALS Romania results cited in the announcement.
SRK Competent Persons Report in Progress as Exploration Plans for 2026–2027 Take Shape
The company stated that exploration plans are being finalised and will be reviewed as part of the SRK Competent Persons Report, with the site visit occurring this week.
