VIENNA: Kuwait’s Ambassador to Austria Fawaz Boursli met Austrian Foreign Ministry Secretary General Nikolaus Marschik on Wednesday. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and reviewed key regional issues of shared concern.
In a statement to KUNA, the Kuwaiti embassy in Vienna said the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in various sectors to serve the common interests of Kuwait and Austria.
The embassy said the talks covered recent developments in the Middle East, particularly maintaining stability and maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
The two sides also reviewed preparations for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York. They stressed the need for continued diplomatic coordination and consultation between Kuwait and Austria on pressing international issues. — KUNA
