Ferencvaros defeated Crimea 40-29 in the second round of the Champions League Group A at Erd Arena in Hungary on the 12th (local time).
With this victory, Ferencvaros took the lead in Group A with two consecutive wins and four points. On the other hand, Creme lost two consecutive games and remained sixth in the group.

It was tight at the beginning of the game. Ferencvarosi led 4-3 and quickly scored four consecutive points as he increased the speed of the attack, and began to widen the gap with Crimea. Based on a stable defense, Ferencvaros showed an edge in the offensive transition and took the lead.
In particular, goalkeeper Blanka Böde-Bíró led Ferencvaros. Böde-Biro blocked 12 shots in the first half alone, recording a 50% defense rate, and Ferencvaros finished the first half with a 21-12 and nine goals ahead.

Omoregi led the team’s attack by making seven of his eight shots on the day. In Crimea, Liliane Mario scored six goals in seven shots, but it was not enough to stop Ferencvaros’ offensive.
Crimea attempted to counterattack by increasing the shooting success rate in the second half. However, Nina Zulic, who scored nine goals against CSM in the previous game, only scored two of her six shots on the day, reducing the power of the attack. Ferencvaros maintained a stable lead throughout the game, effectively sealing his victory.
Ferencvaros allowed some runs at the end of the game, narrowing the gap slightly, but it did not affect the game. The final score was 40–29, when Ferencvaros defeated Crimea by 11 goals.
“I think we’re a stronger team than Crimea at the moment,” coach Jesper Jensen told the European Handball Federation, expressing satisfaction with the players’ overall performance. However, he cited the fact that the number of runs increased in the last 10 minutes of the game as a disappointment.
Cream coach Rasmus Poulsen positively assessed that he stabilized his performance at the end of the second half, saying, “As it is a team with many young players, we suffered under strong pressure.”
