GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Duke Energy reports over 1,000 customers are without power Friday night during a severe thunderstorm.

    A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Abbeville and Anderson counties as of 10 p.m.

    According to Duke Energy, the following customers are without power as of 10 p.m.:

    • Anderson County – 667 customers; power estimated to be restored at 2:30 a.m.
    • Greenville County – 682 customers; power estimated to be restored at 2 a.m.

    J.L. Mann High School’s football game was canceled after the stadium lost power and will be postponed until Monday, according to the school.
