Most of the country will see clear skies on Tuesday, with some areas expected to see thick fog.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Monday, thick fog is set to limit visibility to 200 meters through the morning in Gangwon Province’s mountainous and inland areas, in North Chungcheong Province, and in the central and northern inland areas of North Gyeongsang Province.
The nation will continue to witness wide temperature swings on Tuesday, with most areas seeing highs and lows differ by as much as 15 degrees.
Morning lows will range between 12 and 20 degrees Celsius, similar to Monday’s readings, with daytime highs peaking between 24 and 30 degrees.
Seoul will see a morning low of 18 degrees before warming up to 29 degrees in the afternoon.
The weather agency called for caution, warning of potential wildfires amid strong winds, with dry weather expected in the Chungcheong provinces through Tuesday and in the central region through Wednesday.
