Ranked No. 2 in this year’s CIO50 list is Brett Reedman, Chief Information Officer at Catholic Healthcare. Reedman has led one of the most significant technology-led transformations in Australian aged care, repositioning Catholic Healthcare from a traditionally operated care provider into a digitally enabled organisation equipped to meet the challenges of aged care reform, workforce shortages, increasing compliance obligations and rising expectations for quality care.
Coming in at No. 3 for the second time is Andrew Dome, Chief Digital Information Officer at aged care provider Uniting NSW.ACT. He is credited with pioneering the organisation’s Gen AI assistant Buddy, which eases the admin burden on frontline staff. Buddy has now been white-labelled and rolled out to other care providers.
