Ruslan Stefanchuk has announced plans to remove Russianisms and Anglicisms from Ukrainian legislation. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said this at a meeting in Zhytomyr focused on work toward a new Civil Code of Ukraine.

A separate legislative act is planned to achieve this. Its draft must be reviewed by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Legal Sciences.
