Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday that Russia is closely monitoring which countries provide Ukraine with weapons and production licenses, state-run news agency TASS reported.
Peskov commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement that US President Donald Trump will provide Kyiv licenses to produce missiles for Patriot air defense systems, stressing that Volodymyr Zelenskyy “was talking too much.”
“We, of course, very carefully monitor the information about which countries give which licenses, which weapons are supplied, and take all this into account,” he said.
Regarding diesel exports, Peskov said lifting Russia’s export ban would require more than meeting domestic demand and would depend on the removal of sanctions restricting imports of Russian diesel.
“If we are talking about the fact that the international markets must be saturated with Russian diesel so that the export ban is lifted, then it is not enough to fully ensure Russian consumption, diesel stocks and open the export of diesel,” he said.
He added that safe navigation in the Black Sea and the unrestricted entry of Russian diesel into international markets would also be necessary.
“Therefore, only a comprehensive solution,” he said.
Peskov also said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic could hold talks on a gas supply contract.
