Azerbaijan women’s chess team defeats Czech Republic at World Chess Olympiad

Azerbaijan’s national chess teams played their latest matches at the 46th World Chess Olympiad in Samarkand.

According to Report, the Azerbaijani women’s team defeated the Czech Republic 4-0 in Round 9.

The men’s team lost to Armenia 1.5-2.5.

The World Chess Olympiad, which is being held under the Swiss system and consists of 11 rounds, will conclude on September 27.
