KATHMANDU: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Nepal and Serbia to establish a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism (BCM).
Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić signed the agreement during a side event held in New York while attending the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Bilateral Consultation Mechanism will provide an institutional foundation for regular discussions and consultations between Nepal and Serbia on matters of mutual interest and concern.
Through this mechanism, it is expected to help strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and identify as well as expand new areas of cooperation.
