A brief crossing near the Moldova–Ukraine border unfolded in minutes, as a separate discovery in the country drew attention to a specific drone marking.
An unidentified aircraft violated Moldova’s airspace on Saturday, September 26. The incident occurred amid Russian attacks on Ukraine, Moldova’s Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the ministry, surveillance systems detected the object at 11:16. It entered the country’s airspace from the village of Stepanivka in Odesa Oblast and headed toward Novokotovsk, near the Transnistrian section of the border.
At 11:18, the aircraft left Moldova’s territory, crossing the border in the direction of Pervomaisk. It then continued toward Limanske in Odesa Oblast.
Separately, Moldova’s police reported that the marking “Geran-4” was found on the wreckage of a drone discovered on the evening of September 24 in the Briceni District.
