EUROVIZIJA.LT returns for five weeks in January and February

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has announced its plans for the 71st Eurovision Song Contest and put the call out for potential entries to represent the Baltic nation in Burgas.

The broadcaster’s popular national final, EUROVIZIJA.LT, will be back for a five-night outing in early 2027. Four semi-finals are scheduled to take place on 18, 19, 25 and 26 January, with the all-important final happening on Saturday 20 February. And upon that grand conclusion… Lithuania will have its entry for Burgas 2027!

The window for interested songwriters and music makers to submit songs for the 2027 edition of EUROVIZIJA.LT is already open and will remain so until 11 November. Lithuania’s composers can read more about that right here.

Broadcaster LRT has revealed that from the applications received, at least 30 songs will move forward to compete at EUROVIZIJA.LT 2027.

In a change to the format for 2027, viewers will be able to vote online only for the song they want to see representing Lithuania in Burgas. The online vote from the audience will be combined with scores from an international jury and Lithuania’s winner will be determined!
