Libya and Greece discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance diplomatic cooperation during a meeting on Monday between Abubaker Al-Tawil, Director of the European Affairs Department at Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Greek Ambassador to Libya Ioannis Papamiltiou.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, also reviewed the outcomes of the ministry delegation’s recent visit to Greece, including efforts to strengthen cooperation between the ministry’s Institute of Diplomatic Studies and the Greek Diplomatic Academy, discussing working toward a memorandum of understanding to be exchanged through diplomatic channels, according to the ministry.
The officials reviewed various areas of cooperation between Libya and Greece, stressing the importance of further developing bilateral ties and maintaining coordination and consultations on issues of mutual interest.
