Four more names of artists rumored to compete at Melodifestivalen 2027, the Swedish selection for Eurovision, have been revealed.

Aftonbladet revealed new names of artists who could compete in the upcoming edition of Melodifestivalen.

The two biggest names revealed today are Nanne Grönvall and Dotter. Nanne Grönvall has competed eight times as an artist and six times as a songwriter. She won the 1996 edition of Melodifestivalen and representing Sweden at Eurovision the same year as a member of One More Time, finishing third with “Den vilda”.

Melodifestivalen has been held annually since 1959, except for 1964 and 1976, when Sweden did not compete in Eurovision. SVT received 4,077 submissions for Melodifestivalen 2027. The winner of Melodifestivalen 2027 will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas.

Felicia represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with “My System”. She placed 20th in the final, scoring 51 points, which is the worst result for Sweden in a Eurovision final since 2009, when Malena Ernman placed 21st in Moscow with “La Voix”.
