The European Parliament, the legislative body of the European Union (EU), has seen a “baked statue” satirizing U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle and others, a statue of President Trump titled “Orange Plague” was displayed at the European Parliament headquarters building in Strasbourg, France on the 6th (local time).

Standing 2.5 meters tall, the statue is plated with 23K pure gold. President Trump, naked, is seen on the back of a man much smaller than himself with a golf club in one hand.

Next to the statue, the King of Justice said, “I am sitting on the back of a man. I’ll do anything to help him. Except for coming down from his back,” the explanation reads.

He compared President Trump to the fairy tale “The King Who Took Off” and satirized the oppression of the weak.

Danish author Jens Galskiot, who produced the work, said President Trump has been interfering with each country’s efforts to respond to climate change and created a statue to criticize it.

“If someone is too sensitive to criticism to endure these statues being displayed in the European Parliament, he will not be eligible for the world stage,” said Per Clausen, a Danish member of the European Parliament who promoted the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the statue was also on public display on the streets during the 30th United Nations Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) in Brazil last year. Following last year, the White House did not make a separate position on the statue this year.

The statue will be displayed at the European Parliament’s headquarters for three days from the 6th to the 8th.
