South Carolina Republican Sen. Darline Graham will face off in a debate Sunday against Democratic challenger Dr. Annie Andrews and Libertarian candidate Kasie Whitener.
The debate begins at 7 p.m. EDT. Watch live from South Carolina ETV in the video player above.
Graham, sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, became the GOP nominee in a special primary election following her brother’s sudden death in July. President Donald Trump urged her to run for a full term after Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Graham to serve out the rest of her brother’s current term, which ends in January.
While South Carolina has been a deep-red state, the race for the seat Lindsey Graham held for more than 20 years is tightening slightly. The Cook Political Report moved its rating of the race in late September from Solid Republican to Likely Republican.
