Sources have confirmed to ABC7 Eyewitness News that former San Francisco Police Sergeant Kevin Mannix is the shooting suspect. Sources also say that his wife, Ann Mannix, a former San Francisco Police Department Deputy Chief, was shot and killed, along with the couple’s 25-year-old daughter. Sources with intimate knowledge of what happened told ABC7’s Dan Noyes that Kevin Mannix shot and killed his wife, then his daughter, before turning the gun on himself.

Property records show that the home is owned by the two former officers.

Investigators are waiting for that search warrant to go inside, and we could have updates as early as Monday morning.

Authorities say this is an active investigation and that there is no threat to the public.
