Panther Premier Print has acquired Maximum Promotions, which specializes in flag and flagpole sales and service, along with custom applique banners. Maximum Promotions owner Mark Nelsen founded the business more than 40 years ago. The acquisition pairs its expertise with Sioux Falls-based Panther’s commercial printing, signage, apparel, promotional products, mailing and web-to-print storefront solutions. Maximum Promotions will continue operating under the name Maximum Promotions powered by Panther Premier Print.

Polar Bites has reopened under new ownership. Jon Oppold of Sunny’s Pizzeria and The Orion Pub and his behind-the-scenes partners purchased the seasonal frozen treat shop from its founders. Polar Bites was closed for three weeks as part of the transition.

Vern Eide Motorcars plans to move several of its businesses to the former Citibank campus, while still using only a fraction of the property’s total opportunity. An entity associated with Vern Eide acquired the property in northeast Sioux Falls last month. The 69-acre site at 701 E. 60th St. N. had been on the market for more than seven years. Buildings 1 and 2 will be converted into a location for Vern Eide Motoplex, Vern Eide Powerhouse and Vern Eide Marine. A grand entry will be built to tie the two buildings together. The former childcare center on the campus is expected to become an event venue that includes storage for classic and exotic cars.

Over Easy is adding a second restaurant in Sioux Falls. It’s taking over the Rust & Co. space at The Bridges at 57th as the boutique plans to move to online-only sales at the end of the month. The Attic Restaurant Group is the local franchisee for the Arizona-based chain. The first location in the city opened in June at Dawley Farm Village. Build-out for the new location will take a few months.

A Mexican restaurant at 1200 S. Minnesota Ave. has closed, according to a sign on the door. While a sign on the building reads Los Arcos Mexican Taco Restaurant, the business is listed as Espinoza’s Mexican Restaurant on the city’s food service inspections list as of July.
