New England Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson carried the ball three times for nine yards in a Week 7 loss to the Chicago Bears. Henderson also caught two passes for 14 yards.
Why It Matters: After logging eight touches in Week 6, Henderson managed just five on Thursday night. The question is how much of that is due to the ankle injury he suffered in Week 5? Whatever the answer is, fantasy owners have every right to be disappointed in what they’ve gotten from Henderson this season. After a solid debut in Week 2 (76 yards, one TD), the second-year back has totaled 29, 42, 38, 40, and 23 yards, respectively, in his last five games without a score. There’s still time to turn things around, and if you own Henderson, there’s no reason to sell low on him now, but you can’t consider Henderson as more than a shaky flex candidate right now.
