Telenor Denmark increases service revenue by 4.0% in the third quarter. At the same time, a new survey shows increasing customer satisfaction in Telenor, while CBB maintains its Nordic number one position among the named mobile companies.

The progress reflects a targeted strategy to invest in even better customer experiences, relevant solutions and increased digital security.

The third quarter of 2026 saw growth in the core business at Telenor Denmark. The telecommunications company delivered service revenue of DKK 787 million, an increase of 4.0% compared to the same quarter last year, and an EBITDA margin of 29.7%. The figures reflect Telenor’s continued focus on running an efficient business in a market that requires ever greater investments in security and resilience.

Telenor’s Nordic position strengthens customers’ digital security

Every year, Telenor publishes a Nordic Security Report that highlights the most pressing risks and actions required to strengthen preparedness in the Nordic region. This year’s report, which will be released next week, also shows that security has moved higher up the agenda for Nordic companies. Security is no longer just about protecting existing solutions, but is increasingly influencing which solutions companies choose in the first place.

Security is thus today an integrated part of both private and business customers’ digital everyday life. For private customers, this includes Telenor’s Security Package, which automatically blocks the customer’s access to harmful content on the Internet. Telenor Business offers solutions such as SafeZone, which, among other things, blocks access to fraudulent sites if an employee clicks on a phishing link. Together, the two solutions have protected Telenor’s customers against harmful content on the Internet more than 138 million times in the first three quarters of the year.

    Improvement in customer satisfaction

The mobile market was characterised by high campaign activity and intensified competition in the third quarter. The mobile customer base was reduced by 11,000 customers in the quarter, but is still 6,000 higher than in the same quarter last year.

A new independent survey from EPSI Rating, which measures customer satisfaction in the Danish and Nordic telecommunications industry, shows that while satisfaction among Danish telecommunications customers overall is declining, Telenor is one of only two named companies with progress. CBB maintains its first place in the Nordic region among the named mobile companies.

Lars Thomsen, CEO of Telenor Denmark

In a time of technological change and increased geopolitical uncertainty, it is crucial that we not only focus on the next quarter, but also on strengthening our position in the future. That is why we are investing purposefully in what creates long-term value for both customers and society: Strong customer experiences and a robust, digital foundation that Danes can trust. Security is more important in the dialogue with customers than it was a few years ago. Where it was previously often considered something that was added on top of a solution, today it is part of the decision-making basis itself. As the only Nordic telecommunications company on the Danish market, we combine local presence with Nordic scale and competencies. This gives us a strong foundation for protecting our customers and the critical digital infrastructure, because we can draw on knowledge and experience across borders.
