The Netherlands is expanding its armoured forces as it prepares for the possibility of large-scale conflict. The Dutch Army plans to acquire additional CV90 infantry fighting vehicles, bridge-laying tanks, and a replacement for its unreliable Kodiak combat engineering vehicle. Germany’s FFG will also supply tracked support vehicles and Wisent 2 armoured recovery vehicles. The procurement aims to help Dutch forces overcome obstacles, recover damaged equipment, and sustain armoured operations on a modern battlefield.
