Despite ongoing concerns about the strength of the economy, recent data suggest that the American manufacturing industry is still in the midst of a massive resurgence.
According to recent reporting from Breitbart, the Institute for Supply Management has released a new manufacturing purchasing managers’ index, which rose from 54.5 to 55.5 in the month of September.
The production index also climbed 2.3 points to 59, which is the highest level they’ve recorded since November of 2021.
According to Steve Moore with Unleash Prosperity, this is going to be a boost for both businesses and employees. “The average household has gained about $2,000 in income above inflation during Trump’s first two years back in office. So the numbers have been good. It is true that prices are up, but overall income has actually risen faster than that,” he explained.
Moore also credited the Trump administration’s policies directly for this, saying: “The reduced cost of regulation in the United States, and when you produce things here… also don’t forget that the Big Beautiful Bill had real incentives to make things here in America and reduced the tax burden on American manufacturers.”
