The European Policy Centre is pleased to invite you to this EPC Talks Geopolitics exchange with Radmila Shekerinska, Deputy Secretary General of NATO. EPC Talks Geopolitics is a signature initiative that aims to engage globally renowned speakers in an interactive conversation on relevant geopolitical issues.

At a time of profound transformation in the Euro-Atlantic security environment, this conversation will examine how NATO is adapting to an increasingly complex and contested strategic landscape. Deputy Secretary General Shekerinska will discuss the evolving security challenges following Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, instability in NATO’s southern neighbourhood, the changing nature of threats facing Allies on both sides of the Atlantic and NATO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collective defence, deterrence and resilience.

The exchange will also look ahead to the next phase of NATO’s adaptation – “NATO 3.0” – exploring how the Alliance can translate political commitments into credible defence and deterrence, respond to emerging and evolving threats, and ensure that Europe and North America remain aligned in meeting the security challenges of the coming decade.

Participation is open to EPC members, the media and EU officials only.
