Telia and Ericsson develop Swedish military 5G network as part of Nato scheme

Telia Company said it has selected alongside Ericsson to develop and manage a dedicated 5G network for the Swedish Armed Forces and provide advanced 5G capabilities for a military innovation platform. The project comes under the Nato Innovation Range, for which Sweden and Finland have been commissioned to advance military communications. The Swedish Armed Forces said the platform is part of Nato’s Rapid Adoption Action Plan, which has support from Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
