The airlines are doing just fine messing it up on their own they don’t need any help

    2. Well that sounds criminal.

I have zero qualms with the recent convictions on the group of repeat offenders and I would have zero qualms with anyone planning to interrupt airport traffic to be jailed pre-emptively for conspiracy to commit “x”.

Sounds dangerously criminal and they’ll be begging for 5 year sentences if they are actually going to fuck around with airports.

    4. CobblerSmall1891 on

I love their tactic. Appeal to masses by making everyone their enemy. Whilst wearing clothes made from oil etc. amazing.

    5. Everyone complaining about 5 year prison sentence are missing the point.

Just change the criminals affiliation and you’ll see: Al-Qaeda threaten to shut down Heathrow.

    6. Can JSO employ some consultants about human behaviour and how to get people on their side. It’s infuriating that they’re turning everyone against them as they’re led by donkeys

    7. EstatePinguino on

Yeah… If they block the holiday I’ve worked all year to afford, I’m not gonna be very sympathetic to their cause.

    8. They try this and watch what happens. Utter bunch of cunts. Fuck every one of them.

This is mirroring the suffragette movement. Lawmakers think they can punish enough to determine further actions, politicians think they can ignore the issue. Public are swayed by the media till they aren’t.

How to prove the original sentence was in fact correct and to ensure further harsher crackdown on protests are enforced (a bad thing) while failing to win anyone to your side and embedding hate towards your group.

They are just a bunch of board vandal’s at this stage caught up in cult like thinking ESPECIALLY because the current government is actually taking meaningful steps to address the problem

    11. Fuck me, what climate protests WOULD you people allow? I get that there’s no real point in blocking some roads, but planes are major polluters with no real transition strategies to reduce their emissions.

Target the big guys like planes and cargo ship companies, more the root of the problem. That’s always been my view on it.

Yeah, try to block an airport that tends to have tons of security. In fact, security won’t even be able to do anything as there would be a shit ton of pissed of brits, who would beat the living fuck out Just Stop Oil.

    13. People lose all common sense when it comes to protesting.

They not bothered about the message, they’re more concerned by themselves being inconvenienced.

The suffragettes pulled some very illegal tactics, but most people would agree with it because of women’s sufferage, but mostly because they didn’t have to deal with the inconvenience themselves

      What absolute fucking morons.
Yeah, go ahead, fuck with regular people’s holidays. Genius.
That’ll get the general public on-side with environmental action, right?!

What a bunch of hopeless fucking dickheads.
I swear, these twats are frauds working for big oil and intentionally trying to make environmentalists look like idiots. It’s the only explanation.

Doing nothing at all would help the movement more than this idiocy.

    15. Were these idiots not paying attention to the news last week?

A badly timed, untested security update did more to disrupt air travel than these muppets will ever achieve!!!

    16. AcanthisittaFlaky385 on

Well, all the airports already have a injunction to arrest any protesters that get onto the property… So good luck to them. At worst, they may delay the flights for a few hours.

    17. People have a right to protest, but Just Stop Oil are just being arseholes. People have potentially waited years for these holidays, yet these idiots want to screw everyone over to inflate their egos. This is why the old tory government cracked down on protests, it was because of these folk.

    18. onlyslightlybiased on

“The group said it had trained its demonstrators in “nonviolence” and would work to “undertake all possible steps to ensure that the safety of those using airports, as well as those in the air, will not be compromised by our actions” ”

I assume that was also taken into consideration when jso protesters broke onto a live f1 track at Silverstone a couple years ago

    19. Just maje a dodgy patch for some antivirus, that’ll do it much more efficiently.

    20. _Spigglesworth_ on

Just fuck off an annoy the rich idiots not normal people, they’re making literally everyone hate them.
