      Doctor misdiagnosed condition that notoriously doesn’t have any physical diagnostic criteria. Hardly newsworthy.

    3. I’ve had mild ME symptoms for two years and I’ve managed to get two 5 minute appointments in that time. No blood pressure taken, same few questions asked. Meanwhile it got worse and I’m unable to work full time, but without any financial support or help at home. I may not have ME, I’ve got no clue, and all the advice and help I’ve found by myself. Only realised after 12 months that you aren’t meant to keep pushing through it as it gets worse and is less likely to get better. I’m no where near as in trouble as this poor young person was. I have seen there is very clear guidelines from NICE for the NHS to follow, and that the problem is that a lot of people haven’t realised there is no evidence that it is a psychological problem, this has also been clarified. But our old Victorian habits of blaming the sick, and punishing them, still lingers.
