    1. To be clear though – it’s not a banking license, they are currently in a “mobilisation” period, a common regulatory stage for many new banks. During this period, Revolut will complete the setup of their banking processes before starting to operate as a bank in the UK. So close to it but still a way off at this moment in time, still not FSCS protected too.

Anybody who uses these fintech banks (Monzo, N26, Tide ect.) have terrible financial skills.

      # Change my mind.

    3. So I can create a startup, get an EU banking licence via MICA in a few months to offer custody solutions. To do the same in the UK takes minimum of three years and millions in lawyer fees. We are so anti innovation in this country it hurts. The BoE has been deliberately holding us back for years.

I had £600 taken out of my Revolut account due to a scammer.

      They refused to refund me.

I’ll never use them, and tell others to stay away

Handy for some foreign currency stuff, but there is no way in hell that I would bank with Revolut day-to-day.

    6. Couldn’t pay me to use Revolut. Run by wankers and every story I hear is about how crap their bank is.

    7. Why is anyone using Revolut with Starling & Monzo already dominating the space entirely?

Shitty company. Tried to use them to send money abroad but they fucked it up enough my bank rang me to see what’s up. I stuck with Western Union for foreign transfers after that.
