Is this like some kind of protest by the police? Make us investigate our own and we’ll do it as inefficiently but by the book as possible? What’s to investigate, the footage is right there.

    2. >they had gone house-to-house at 500 premises along the route the cow took to appeal for witnesses as part of their investigation.

      >Officers have contacted 75 witnesses and received 250 video clips.

Only just seen the video on another site as it’s offline in link….

there was no reason to hit the cow that hard. I was expecting to see a police car nudge the cow off the road or something and people over reacting as always. Don’t get me wrong if some was behind the cow shocking it with a cow prod people would call it cruel but I get it it’s a big animal on the road and needs to be removed… BUT That was brutal!!! Way more damage and pain than an electric cow prod would ever cause…

Poor cow, obviously panicking in a strange world, that is cruel no question.

Brilliant use of police resources. Can you imagine if they put the time and effort into investigating at least one burglary?

Knocking on hundreds of doors when there’s an incident is probably like 30% of the polices job.

What the fuck are they visiting?? Going from one McDonald’s to the next just to taste test the beef burgers for clues??

    7. ” we expect police to fulfil their jobs”… Police begin investigating all crimes…”well this is a waste of police time!”…

As I said on the Manchester airport incident, some officers are nothing but thugs.

The modern force seems to be attracting a special brand of scumbag, but is that because scumbags have been so protected, cosseted and encouraged that they are now the average citizen?

    9. I kinda feel this is swinging the lead a bit.
Cow is fine, police officers are known.

      What exactly are they investigating?
      To what end?

Considering burglaries and thefts from cars get a crime reference number, it’s hard to comprehend the justification of the use of resources here

Jesus what a waste of time.

The cow is recovering…. until it’s sent to the abattoir.

Why is everyone defending the cow? What about cow grooming gangs? Cows deserve it!

Shows the priorities of hte police it seems, all about image perception in the media. Good luck if you’ve been a victim of crime (like I have multiple times)
