      Absoutely disgusting – one of the guys goes for the sucker punch from behind. The most cowardly move.

      No sympathy whatsoever, I’d have probably kicked their heads in too. If this was in the US, they would have had about 50 bullets in them within 3 seconds of going for the officer.

      Still shouldn’t have had his head stomped on while completely subdued. Nor should the big sat down guy have had his head kicked. I expect more from the police than of scum bags.

      Makes me wonder what provoked the men to attack armed police?? Regardless, the police man who kicked and stamped on a mans head should have the book thrown at him.

      Definitely helped clear some of the rumours going around, and obviously both parties are in the wrong. Where does the footage of men getting pepper sprayed fit into all of this though?

      I swear there were loads of commenters saying that these guys were entirely uninvolved with the attack on the police.

      I don’t think the headstomp was justified of course.

      The butter woulnt melt in their mouths act seems to have somewhat dissipated.

      He clearly deserves some jail time. As does the police officer. If he cant hold his cool in those kind of situations he is only going to make it worse for his colleagues.

      I hope this gets as much coverage as the misleading and out of context video of the guy getting kicked.

      Those people are absolutely disgusting animals and I feel so grateful to the police who have to deal with people like that every day so we don’t have to.

      He would of been shot in the USA.
      Very fast paced incident you can see how emotions were high on the police side.
      Don’t condone it at all but I can rightly see why it happened.
      What’s more shocking is them both sitting there with there lawyer like they both did nothing wrong trying to get compo.
      Acting like there scared to leave the house, not these twos first rodeo this ,can guarantee there up to all kinds in there day to day lives.
      No straight laced citizen starts throwing hands at police like that especially in a airport!

      this just confirms what we pretty much already knew. guys got what was coming to them, but there’s simply no excuse for using deadly force on him when he no longer posed a threat to anyone.

      Attacking armed officers in an airport countless places all over the world they’d have been shot for that. I actually think the bobbies handled it quite well with tasers until he snapped.

      Call me crazy but I understand the headkick now. This was a competent, aggressive, and violent attacker who was able to take down 2 cops.

      The only reason he’s on the ground not moving is the electric shock from the taser, not that he gave up and is not resisting. In the officers mind, as soon as he releases the trigger of the taser – this guy gets up and continues fighting – he is not handcuffed.

      I think people are being unreasonable here, if someone attacksd me in the streets and they fell down – I think its entirely reasonable for me to kick them in the head and disable them.

      Highly kinetic situation and have been assaulted. And if they lose they could have their weapons taken and used against them.

      Oh wow the officer was in the wrong but this puts another perspective on it.

      The original footage looked like the man was on the ground submissive for a while before he was kicked, this shows he was kicked straight after attacking the police. Not that it is right but this was an automatic response rather than thought out revenge, as originally depicted.

      Obligatory comment that the police officer shouldn’t have kicked the guy in the head. Apart from anything else a violent piece of shit is probably going to get a massive payout courtesy of the tax payer.

      But if anyone deserves to get kicked in the head, it’s that arsehole. If I was the police officer my defence would be I was concussed and not thinking clearly from the repeated sucker punches to the back of the head.

      All the video shows is what everyone knew. But to fit the narrative people have edited videos and picked certain pieces to show.

      Two wrongs don’t make a right.

      The two lads should be inside for assaulting a police officer(s).

      Copper should be inside for assaulting an incapacitated man.

      Then again, in most other countries their actions would have warranted an instant bullet spray, so can consider themselves lucky to be in the UK.
