Was there with a tour group that left at around 3:15, didn’t notice anything at the time, nor when we entered the Roman Baths at around 2 – doesn’t mean anything though, hope everyone’s alright

I would not be surprised what this means is: homeless and very unwashed person approached two people who then had absurd attack of vapours due to bad smell of person and went to hospital wasting everyone’s time. Police panicked and cordon hazmat etc.

I’m guessing two people made a spurious connection between a touch of hayfever and some woman wandering around with her tesco meal deal and panicked, called an ambulance and reported this mysterious substance wielding woman having made them ill so they responded as if it were some sort of chemical attack.
