Carefully, he’s a hero. He should be considered for the George Medal.
Sounds like there were a lot of brave people involved trying to intervene then treat the wounded. Hopefully they’ll get the recognition and support they deserve to get past this.

None of us know how we would react in a situation like that till we are in it. I would hope I would react the same way as this brave man knowing that you are at almost certain risk of harm and still doing what he did.
He should be proud of his actions.

From reading that witness account, sure doesn’t sound like a random attack.
