๐๐ Pork Snouts in Sauce ๐ ๐
Today I ventured to cook a traditional recipe that I love! Pork Snouts in Sauce are a delight full of authentic flavors. Here I tell you how I prepared them:
Ingredients:
- 250g of cooked pork snouts
- 1 Spring onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon of sweet La Vera paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon of spicy La Vera paprika
- Touch of cumin
- Pinch of salt
- Olive oil
- 200ml crushed tomato
- 300ml of white wine
- Touch of Sugar
1๏ธโฃ I started by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2๏ธโฃ Once hot, I added the chopped scallions and peppers, added a pinch of salt and sautรฉed them until tender and fragrant.
3๏ธโฃ After the vegetables softened, I added the sweet and spicy paprika, and a pinch of cumin, mixing everything together to release those delicious aromas.
4๏ธโฃ I quickly added the crushed tomatoes and a touch of sugar to balance the acidity of the tomato. I let it reduce until the sauce took shape and the aroma filled the kitchen.
5๏ธโฃ The highlight is here! I added the pork snouts, previously cut into small pieces, and then added the white wine. I let everything simmer for 10 minutes so that the flavours could blend perfectly.
๐ฅ The result was spectacular! The Pork Snouts in Sauce were tender, full of flavor and with that irresistible sauce that transported me straight to grandma’s recipes. Definitely a recipe worth repeating over and over again!
