South Dakota is so white their top hot sauce is HEINZ

Say there fella please pass that SPICY HOT HEINZ

  2. Different sauces for different dishes. Sriracha for Asian and soups, Tabasco Chipotle or Cholula for tacos, nachos etc., Texas Pete for pizza and just about everything else.

Clearly this map is wrong. Anyone who knows anything about hot sauce knows that each has it’s use.

    * Franks – This is your sauce to make wings sauce (franks + butter + a bit a brow sugar, microwave and mix)
    * Louisiana Hot Sauce – This stuff has just the right amount of acid to add that extra zing to your chili
    * Crystal – Awesome on Gumbo, Pizza, or any greasy food you’d like to add hot sauce on like fried chicken
    * Valentina / Tapatio – Go to hot sauce for eggs / breakfast

There is no one hot sauce to rule them all

Umm sir, me and everyone I know in Kentucky uses Louisiana Hot Sauce. I don’t know anybody that uses Franks. Maybe Louisville?

  5. Instacart should not make a general guide. Most of my hot sauce purchases are not made via app.

  6. The fuck is Trappeys? I grew up in Nebraska, left for a decade and came back and I’ve NEVER heard of or seen Trappeys hot sauce. Tapatio is everywhere though, followed by Cholula and Valentina.

  7. Nanitas Finest isn’t a hot sauce, it’s green chile. and I highly doubt it’s many people’s favorite. There are many better alternatives.

While Mexican Village Hot Sauce isn’t actually hot, it’s by far the best sauce to dip tortilla chips in

This is some weird stat from Instacart sales with no bearing on reality. I’m from New Mexico and Monroe’s doesn’t even sell “hot sauce.”

  10. Nashville and eastward is heavy Texas Pete country, so those heathens in the west state must be drinking Louisiana’s by the bottle
