County’s Football Education Player Pathway students are set to host, and organise, a fundraiser tournament for local businesses, with all proceeds going towards our students’ trip to Spain to compete in the Trofeo Mediterráneo.

Last season, the Football Education Player Pathway students travelled to Spain to compete in MIC 2024, where they were knocked out in the round of 16 by Espanyol.

This season, the players will travel to Spain once again to compete in the Trofeo Mediterráneo, aiming to make the Club proud.

The tournament will be hosted at Stockport Sports Village on Friday 14th February, between 1pm and 4pm.

The tournament is 5-a-side format, with the entry fee priced at £250 per team. Networking opportunities are available, with Stockport County-exclusive prizes for the winning team.

It has the makings of a great afternoon and a perfect start to the weekend, with the cafe and bar open at Stockport Sports Village.
