The Mets have revealed their new road jersey that will be worn during the 2025 season.

During Saturday’s Amazin’ Day at Citi Field, the new road jersey was shown off. Take a look below:

The new royal blue road jersey has “New York” written in script across the chest, which was worn by the Mets in 1987. That was the only season the script “New York” was used. It also emulates the pullover style used by the team that season.

As with all MLB teams, only five jersey options can be carried at any given time.

The Mets’ current jersey options are:

    Home pinstripe
    Road gray
    Blue home alternate
    Black home alternate
    City Connect (worn at home)

The new royal blue road jersey will likely replace the blue home alternates, which was worn sparingly in 2024.
