ERT, the Greek national broadcaster, hosted their first national final with more than one artist for the first time since 2015. After a three hour long show, and 12 competing acts, a mix of jury votes and televoting gave us a winner, and Greece’s entry for Basel – and it’s none other than Klavdija, with “Asteromáta”.

Helena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas hosted tonight’s show. Both of them performed as part of the interval act, as well as Marina Satti who represented Greece in Eurovision last year in Malmö. The results of five international jury members, as well as five local jury members (including Michalis Hatzigiannis who represented Cyprus in Eurovision 1998 with “Genesis”) counted as 50% of the results, and the other 50% came from the public vote. The hosts first announced the top three:

    • BARBZ – Sirens
    • Klavdija – Asteromáta
    • Evangelia – Vále

Once the three girls joined the hosts on stage, Sakis and Helena announced that the winner, and the next Greek Eurovision entrant is none other than Klavdija!
