DeAPlaneta Entertainment has acquired animated preschool series Milo
Barcelona-based kids’ content company DeAPlaneta Entertainment has acquired full ownership of animated preschool series Milo.
Milo, commissioned by Paramount-owned Channel 5 in the UK’s preschool block Milkshake!, was coproduced by British animation studio Fourth Wall and DeAPlaneta. The series follows a little cat and his friends as they explore different jobs and professions.
DeAPlaneta will now lead the Milo’s future development, licensing, broadcast partnerships and global expansion.
Since its premiere on Milkshake! in 2021, Milo has aired in over 170 countries in four continents. It debuted in the US on PBS Kids last year. The third season of Milo will begin development this quarter.
