DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — 29-year-old Caulen Coe hit the pavement with a purpose Friday night, running through downtown Delray Beach until midnight to raise money for mental health awareness.
According to a news release, Coe has been repeating a 2.2-mile loop, using a nearby Slash Fitness gym as his base to rest between laps.
“I want people to know that there is light after dark times in life,” said Coe who has been training for this challenge since Fall. “There are people out there to support you.”

Coe, joined by Slash Fitness members and friends for every mile, is running every mile with company.
By noon today, he had already crossed the halfway point, running over 50 miles.
His goal is to raise funds for the nonprofit organization MOVEMBER, an organization that supports men’s health by funding research and transforming the way health services support men.
Having faced his own struggles with mental health, Coe hopes to shed light on the issue and make a positive impact on those in need.
With over $4,000 already raised, Coe is almost to the finish line.
