The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) slid eight-point-41 points, or zero-point-31 percent on Thursday to close at two-thousand-683-point-65.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ inched down one-point-45 points, or zero-point-17 percent, to close at 867-point-48.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened six-point-one won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-375-point-nine won.
