Memorial Health System’s Department of Cardiology invites the community to join in celebrating Heart Awareness Month this February with two free events dedicated to promoting heart health and education.
The EKG Screening Event offers community members the opportunity to take proactive steps toward heart health. Screenings will be held at the Belpre Medical Campus in Belpre, and the Athens Medical Campus in Athens, Ohio, providing convenient access to this essential service. The Belpre EKG event will take place today from 5-7 p.m., while the Athens EKG event is Feb. 25, from 5-7 p.m.
Concluding the month’s focus on heart health, the Women With Heart Luncheon will be sponsored by Memorial Health Foundation. This event will be held Feb. 28, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Broughton Community Building, 639 State Route 821, Marietta. The event intends to provide attendees with valuable education and insights from leading cardiovascular experts.
The luncheon will feature interventional cardiologist, Jason Schott, DO, as the keynote speaker.
Joining him will be a distinguished panel of experts, including:
