The Ministers of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia and Kosovo, Pance Toshkovski and Xhelal Svecl, today inspected the “Bllacë” border crossing to see the implementation of the “One stop shop” project, namely joint control at border crossings.

Ministers Toshkovski and Sveclja in “Blace” expressed their satisfaction with the completion of the works, while saying that initially this project will be in a test form, reports Telegraph Macedonia.

“We note the beginning of the test period for the ‘one stop shop’ for our citizens. The technical equipment has been installed and we have seen that the project is ready for the testing phase. Each country will protect its own entrance,” said Toshkovski.

Meanwhile, Minister Sveçla emphasized that the two countries should continue communication in order to increase cooperation.

“I am pleased with the work that has been done at this border point, for the implementation of our agreement for a control at our border point. I believe that continuous communication will continue in the future, as it builds relations between our countries. I hope that the testing phase will also pass and everything will be implemented successfully.”

“I congratulate the ministers for intensifying the work to implement this project, which will significantly facilitate the movement of citizens of both countries. It has been a project that has been discussed in both governments,” said Sveçla.

Also present at this event was the First Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Izet Mexhiti, who emphasized that this project is an implementation of the agreement between the governments of North Macedonia and Kosovo. /Telegrafi/
