JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – UW Health is opening a new family medicine clinic in Janesville.

The new 9,900 square-foot-facility will be located at 500 Midland Court and will offer adult and pediatric primary care services. It will start seeing patients on Feb. 25.

Director of Ambulatory Operations at UW Health Alicia Rizzo said this facility will help meet the growing needs in the community.

“This new clinic strengthens our commitment to delivering remarkable care to our communities,” she said. “This convenient location and enhanced care coordination ensures that patients have access to the highest quality care.”

The construction team that built the hospital said it used a segmented wall panel system to transform a space that used to be a commercial office into an exam, procedure and diagnostic rooms. They also noted that walls and fixtures in the facility can be unmounted and reinstalled.

This is the first UW Health facility with this type of design.

“This innovative approach serves as a pilot for how to quickly build flexible and efficient health care spaces in regions where patient demand is growing,” Mike McKay, who is a director, planning design and construction with UW Health.

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5p.m. You can call (608) 916-2600 to make an appointment.
