Cold front Coral to impact Greece through Monday

    The cold front Coral will continue to affect Greece and the wider southeastern Europe and eastern Mediterranean regions until Monday, according to the updated weather bulletin from the National Meteorological Service (EMY) issued on Saturday. Light snowfall is expected in several areas, including the eastern mainland, the Aegean islands, and southern Crete.

    On Saturday, temperatures will reach 6°C in Macedonia, Thrace, and the northern Aegean islands, while in Thessaly, central and eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese, and Evia, temperatures will reach 8°C.

    On Sunday and Monday, temperatures in Macedonia, Thrace, and the northern Aegean islands will range from -6°C to 7°C. In Thessaly, central and eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese, and Evia, temperatures will range from -2°C to 11°C.

    In mountainous areas, minimum temperatures could drop to between -8°C and -10°C.
